On the festival may participate youth and adults folklore dance groups.

During the Festival each Group will have 3-4 performances which will be organized in Nea Anchialos

Each participant group is to participate in the Dance Group Parade (beginning from Nea Anchialos main square and ends at the performance area )

Each participant group is to participate in the Festival Opening Ceremony with one piece (no longer than 10 minutes). 

The rest of the days, the groups will perform from 15 to 20 min maximum.

Live music (orchestra is required) but CD will be also accepted.

The performances will be in the evening hours so you can plan the day ahead and use it for visiting the beauties of Nea Anchialos, Volos and Pelion, excursions or simply enjoying on the beach.

Each participant group receives a diploma and a memorable souvenir of the Festival.

Participant groups are invited to take part in workshops (master classes) with Greek specialists.

Festival participant groups are to submit printed materials to be used for the festival posters, booklets and catalogues design.

Also, please submit an official trailer 40 seconds and an additional video maximum 4 minutes from your ministry of tourism, in order to make presentation of your country during the festival, before your performance.

Each participant group is welcome to bring their video materials for sale and showcase their cultural uniqueness by participating in the fair-sale with arts and crafts products of their native region

In the end of the Festival, after the show, the Groups have gift exchange and receiving certificates.

Each group should bring the flag and sing of their country.

NOTE: Each group must send us the music for the performance by email, 10 days before the festival starts.

The groups should pay the travel expenses by themselves to Nea Anchialos and back.

The groups coming by bus should use their own transport all the time during the festival and the small journeys and excursions around the city.

The participant group should arrive in Nea Anchialos on 12th July 2019 and leave on 15th July 2019 after having breakfast and leave the rooms till 10:30. Groups might participate fewer days. Groups who are interested extending their stay in additional performances from 16th July till 17th July 2019, has to contact the organisation committee.

The number of participants is limited. Therefore, we will appreciate if you can send us your application by May 31st 2019. After receiving your application we will send you the official invitation for participating on the Festival. We will also assist you in obtaining visa for Greece if necessary. Each member must have travel insurance policy.

The accommodation of the participants is organized in hotels and apartments in Nea Anchialos or in Volos.

Hotels are with 2 or 3 beds in the room and apartments are with 2, 3 and 4 beds in room, right on the beach and only 3 to 5 minutes from the performance area and the city center.

The breakfast and dinner are organized in traditional Greek restaurants at the beach close to your accommodation.

The Groups must send the rooming list by mid June (Groups that do not send, the rooming list will be made by festival and can’t be any changes upon arrival).

If the group shows interest in extending the stay the organizers should be informed during the application process.
